Have faith. It will give you the courage to inspire others to trust in themselves. My sister bought these rocks for me because she could see that I am struggling in my life right now.
I love and appreciate her for the gesture. As I sit here and stare at them, I am trying to apply them to my current situation. Most of my friends think that I am crazy. They think I should just stay home and enjoy and appreciate the ability to do so. They don’t understand that I lose a little bit of myself every day. I need something outside this “stay at home mom” thing I have going on. I’m a good mom and I am there for my kids at every turn and at all times. But, I am sick of being vilified because I want something more. I have given almost 10 years to staying at home. I don’t want to do it anymore and I don’t want haters hating me for feeling this way. So, let’s think about these inspirational rocks a little, shall we?
1. FAITH- I need to have faith in myself that I can really do whatever it is I set my mind to do. I need to take the jump and believe that the parachute will open.
2. COURAGE- I need to summon up the courage to take the step when the time is right. I need to have the courage to do everything I can to make this work and the courage to face the haters if it doesn’t turn out the way I had planned.
3. TRUST_ I need to trust that everything is going to work out exactly the way it was supposed to work out. Even if it fails. I have to trust in the reason for the failure and the lesson I am supposed to learn from it.
4.INSPIRE- I try to inspire others on a daily basis. I have two former students who are successful teachers now. They both credit me with inspiring them to go for their dreams. My wonderful babysitter is now returning to school because of a little conversation we had at my kitchen counter. That makes my heart happy.
If I can summon the courage to do this, the trust that it will work, the faith that I am where I am supposed to be, and inspire a few youngins along the way, I just might find the happiness in my soul that I am so desperately searching for.

Your friends think you’re crazy! I can see why. Four little stones against your Goliath of a struggle; did a sling come with those? I feel you, I’m with you, so I’m not going to side with your friends. Only one left is your sister. She’s crazy.
Lol! I have 2 other sisters and a brother, too! Plus, my mother & my husband support me, so I guess that’s all that matters 🙂
